Reports reaching us indicate that scores of well-armed robbers dressed in military camouflage, robbed an FCMB Bank located at Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State.
The armed robbers supposedly arrived in a speed boat through the Ikoyi-Lekki toll bridgeand started shooting sporadically. Some Policemen in their van were not lucky as the robbers instantly opened fire on them killing them on the spot. Stray bullets also killed a few people nearby.
The armed robbers were said to have escaped in speedboats after their operation.
