Nigerian hackers and cyber criminals are being accused of masterminding a grand theft of information and money running into billions of dollars, worldwide. According to experts, the Nigerians are able to carry out the heist by sending phishing emails to commercial organizations and industrial enterprises, which they later steal dry.

The spate of inceesant kidnappings in Kaduna State, North-Central Nigeria took another dimension, yesterday, as three students and a lecturer of School of Midwifery, Tudun Wada, were abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.
Chairman of Nigeria's narcotics agency - the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Mr. Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah said the Agency has seized over 15,064kg of cocaine and heroin worth 225 trillion naira at the Tin-Can and Apapa Ports.

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is calling for unity in Nigeria amidst separatist calls and mounting ethnic tensions. Nigeria's government is calling for national unity after southerners were given an ultimatum to leave the country's north, triggering renewed calls for independence elsewhere.
Recall that the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum last week said Igbos living in the mainly Muslim north should go back to the largely Christian south by October 1.

The United States government is buttressing its paperwork walls with new requirements for social media disclosures as part of revised visa applications.
Not less than than 14 people were feared dead and many others injured yesterday in Sime community, a suburb of Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State after unknown gunmen invaded the area.
In a related note, six people were also reportedly abducted in Andoni Local Government Area of the state. Many people were said to have sustained various degrees of injuries during the operation that crippled the area.
The Canadian government has called for continued use of dialogue in the north east and other conflict zones across the country in other to achieve peace and security as well as protect the lives and human rights of all Nigerians.
