Vigilance! Ikorodu Community in Lagos State Announces 10-Days Curfew For ‘Oro’ Festival

 

The community leaders of Gberigbe in the Ikorodu axis of Lagos have announced plans to commence the traditional ‘Oro’ in the community and its environs. The development is due to the alleged imminent invasion of the community by a notorious serial criminal and ritualist gang known as ‘’Badoo’’.

Ikorodu, a sprawling neighbourhood in the “Centre of Excellence” is fast becoming a refuge for daredevil robbers. In recent times, the robbers bare their fangs in banks, carting away millions of naira and leaving their victims in emotional trauma, with some sent to early graves.
